About the Phi Sigma Rho Sorority: Phi Sigma Rho is a social sorority for women in engineering and other technical studies. Phi Sigma Rho was founded on September 24th, 1984 at Purdue University by Abby McDonald and Rashmi Khanna. Our sorority was founded in order to give women in technical studies a community of understanding and support. As of today, there are 28 chapters across the U.S. sharing our the common goals of friendship, scholarship, and encouragement.
About our UIUC Chapter: Our Phi Sigma Rho Colony was founded by Laurie DeHaan and became a colony in November of 2011. We became the Alpha-Epsilon Chapter in March 2013!
